College Vision and Values Competition

The School Wide Positive Behaviour framework is being introduced at Carranballac P-9 College.  The program is based on the explicit teaching and reinforcing of positive school behaviour.  Explicitly teaching our behavioural expectations and acknowledging students for demonstrating them is the key to our success.

The values of the College will play an important role in this framework as we see them embedded in all school activities.

This behavioural framework can be seen now in many schools across Victoria and is a Department of Education initiative "to improve the health, safety and well-being of all students and staff in schools."

To introduce the Carranballac P-9 College Values to our Community, we are holding a competition for all students to learn the Values and create a visual representation of them.

  • Students may enter as many times as they like.
  • Students are asked to create a character or a symbol that represents one of our College values.
  • Every participant will receive 100 house points.
  • A winner will be drawn from each of the Value categories, and each category winner will receive 5000 house points.
  • Entries must be submitted on the template (below) by Friday 30th August.
  • Entries may be submitted to your child's classroom Teacher, or in the box at the office.
